Amazing how much time it took

For some reason, it took just about forever to get this new site launched. I made it for a friend of mine, and its not going to be overly serious, to say the least.
Its a new way of blogging (we think) and its running as a test. If it becomes popular, then we might launch it as a serious product, or as a modification to one of the existing blog platforms.
For now, its only being done in danish, and as we (or I) speak, one of the last major bugs in the system is being squashed ;)

And those amongst you that speak danish, will without any doubt find the site more interesting (when content is added), than those of you that is somehow surviving without this great language under your belt.

Thats all for now, gotta get back to squashing that bug. More soon to come, including updates and new features to this site.

New project

Almost in the clear

A new project is well under way. I will not be showing it to you just yet, but I can reveal a few details.


It will be the first use of my CMS outside this site, the contents of the site will most likely only be danish (sry all)and it might be the beginning of a whole new way to blog..!

I know its not very important to post this kind of info, without even naming the project, and it might be seen as just empty filling for the blog, but I cant just have a post stating that the test-content will be deleted now, can I?

And that is exactly what has happened by now. No more of that nasty "text-generator-generated-text", wich does not seem to make any sense, but the adsense bar seems to get all kinds of religious messages from it.. go figure :S

The first real post

And I have nothing really good to say...

The blog is finally complete enough to be used. So with out further ado... Welcome to Lynges.net!

This is the blog of sys-admin, webdesigner and all around geek, Mathias Lynge Nielsen.
In time, it will contain guides to various projects or just some kind of bragging like "Look what I have made". In the list of categories to the left you may or may not have noticed the tag "Rant", this is where the words flow like a muddy torrent of down right not niceness, stating my views of, some of the things I come into contact with. For the same reason it is not advisable to read anything if this section if you are unable enter into a constructive dialog about other peoples opinions, but I cant imagine YOU as such a person ;-)

The category "For the Danes" is written by a dan, for the danes and mostly about the danes (or related to them), so if you have no idea what "Rugbrød" is and dont have the letters Æ,Ø and Å on you keyboard, this probably is not for you, but sneak a peek if you like.

So, in time, all kinds of writings and pictures will appear on these pages, as well as new functions to the blog.
The blog system is written by me, and as such there is still room for improvements, and new features.
Should you have any suggestions for new features or have you found a bug, then please, dont hessitate to email me. It can be done from the form under the menu'point "Contact"
